    Cookies and browser storage

    Last updated: 15 October 2026

What melt.games stores in your browser and when it connects to external services.

    Visit identifier

Our own measurement script uses sessionStorage, under the melt-vivo-sesion key, to keep a random identifier in the tab session. It does not create cookies. It sends visit and activity data to a Supabase function, independently of the information notice button.

    Remembering this notice

The Got it button stores that you dismissed the notice in localStorage, using the existing melt-cookie-consent key. This value is not an analytics switch and does not enable or disable services. It has no programmed expiry and you can remove it by clearing the site's data in your browser. Values from previous versions of the notice do not control measurement either.

    Language by URL

Spanish and English pages have different URLs. Switching languages takes you to another URL; we do not store a language preference in localStorage or cookies.

    Google Fonts and YouTube

The site requests fonts from Google Fonts when the page loads. Opening a trailer loads the YouTube player, which may use cookies or other storage according to its policies and your settings. The information notice does not manage these services.

    Reviewing or clearing browser data

You can inspect, clear or limit cookies and storage in your browser settings. Clearing the identifier makes the script create another on a later page load if storage is available. Clearing the notice record makes the notice appear again. Clearing browser data does not delete events already sent to the server.
